Who is CashLady?
CashLady is a credit broker with access to a large panel of trusted and responsible UK-based lenders.
CashLady, and all the lenders we work with, are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Why choose CashLady for your £3,000 loan?
- Our service is free to use.
- No-obligation quotes.
- Our lenders offer £3,000 loans with repayment terms between 12 and 60 months.
- We use soft search technology, which won’t harm your credit score.*
*If we match you with a loan and you decide to make a full application directly with the lender, you’ll be required to undergo a hard credit search. Hard searches will remain on your credit file for up to 12 months, and several hard searches in a short period of time could have a negative impact on your credit score.
How exactly does the CashLady process work?
The CashLady process is straightforward. Here’s how it works.
- Complete our online form. This should take around five minutes, and will give us the chance to get to know you and what you’re looking for.
- We’ll run a soft search on your financial history and scan our panel of lenders for a suitable loan.
- If we’ve matched you to one of our lenders, you’ll be redirected to their website, where you can find out more about the loan.
- If you’d like to go ahead with the loan, you’ll need to make a full application with the lender. At this stage, a hard credit search will be carried out.
- Once the lenders checks are back and approved as satisfactory, you’ll be sent a loan agreement. Take the time to read through the terms and conditions before deciding whether to sign and return.
Who can apply for a £3,000 loan?
Eligibility criteria differs between lenders, but usually, you can apply for a £3,000 loan if you:
- Are over the age of 18;
- Are a UK resident;
- Have a UK bank account and valid debit card; and
- Have a regular source of income paid into your bank account.
You can use CashLady to search for a loan if you meet the above criteria.
When will I receive my £3,000 loan?
If approved, there’s a chance that your money could be sent today, although time frames will vary between lenders, and the time it takes for the funds to appear in your account will depend on your bank’s policies and procedures.
Is it better to borrow a £3,000 loan for a shorter or longer term?
This will depend on your personal situation and preference.
Your monthly repayments will cost more over a shorter term, but you’ll pay less in interest.
Longer terms allow you to spread the cost of the loan out further, although you will end up paying more in interest.
Whichever term you choose, you should be sure that you’re able to afford your monthly repayments.
What are my chances of getting a £3,000 loan with bad credit?
Having bad credit history could make it difficult to get approved for a loan, although there are some lenders – including several on the CashLady panel – who are willing to consider applications from those with poor credit.
Before you apply for a bad credit loan, you should be aware that you’re likely to be offered high interest rates. In addition to this, you might not be able to borrow as much money as you need.
Will taking out a £3,000 loan affect my credit score?
Loans, like all types of credit, will impact your score.
Making your repayments on time each month and clearing the balance of your loan before the term expires could result in an improvement to your credit score.
On the other hand, missing or making late repayments will cause your credit score to decline.
What happens if I can no longer afford my monthly repayments?
In this case, it’s important to get in touch with your lender as soon as possible. They will be able to talk you through any options that might be available to help reduce some of the pressure.
While asking for help may be the very last thing you feel like doing, please know that your lender will not judge you, and will appreciate the fact that you’ve been honest about your situation.
